“CREASPLENDORE” new dance solo show- wip
Ciao a tutti!
Sono contenta ed entusiasta per il mio nuovo processo creativo: “CREASPLENDORE”!
E’ un solo di danza contemporanea, con direzione, coreografie ed interpretazione mie.
Ispirato al Cantico delle Creature di S. Francesco d’Assisi, è un inno alla bellezza del creato e alla pace. Come sempre la natura è costantemente presente in me.
E’ per me interessante scoprire le varie influenze che stanno venendo fuori durante questo lavoro.
Alla base della mia formazione in danze di matrice africana e danza contemporanea, si è ultimamente aggiunto, o meglio, si è integrato il lavoro svolto con gli artisti associati della Akram Khan Company, durante i due mesi in cui ho vissuto a Londra tra il 2014 e il 2015.
Sono curiosa di vedere come il mio corpo ha rielaborato il tutto!
In ultimo, in un meticciato culturale tipico mio, ci saranno anche gocce e vita della mia prossima permanenza in Brasile, nella mia dolce Salvador de Bahia, tra Iemanjà, danze afro brasiliane e danze afro contemporanee.
E…novità cui tengo tantissimo, lo spettacolo conterrà anche elementi nuovi: le mie poesie, quasi haiku, ma non solo e i miei dipinti.
Quindi tra danza, pittura e poesie, Londra, Italia e Brasile, lo spazio per esprimere bellezza (spero), non mi manca! Sarà un po’ come “creare splendore dalle briciole”…di tempo, di risorse, di aiuti… come spesso capita agli artisti.
Un grazie di cuore a colui che considero un vero Maestro d’Arte, Marco Sbizzera, che, come sempre, riesce, col suo sguardo esterno, a farmi capire quello che sto facendo, o meglio canalizzando e dove sto andando io e dove sta andando la mia arte.
E grazie allo sguardo esterno Salvatore Longu.
L’incontro con altri sguardi esterni importanti è già previsto per il prossimo futuro, a fine creazione, un grazie in anticipo. Vediamo, sono curiosa!

Hi everyone!
I am really happy and excited for my new creative process called “CREASPLENDORE”!
It’s a contemporary dance solo, directed, choreographed and danced by me.
Inspired by the “Cantico delle Creature” of S. Francesco d’Assisi, it’s an hymn for the beauty of creation and for peace.
Nature, as usual, is constantly present in me and my body.
This time it’s going to be interesting to discover the different influences that are coming out from my body.
To a strong background of african dances and contemporary dance I lastly added, or better said integrated a body work with the Akram Khan Company during two months when I lived in London between 2014 and 2015.
I am curious to see how my body reacted and has integrated everything!
Last, in a tipica Roberta cultural hybridism, there will be drops and life of my next travel for dance purposes in Brazil, in my sweet Salvador de Bahia, among Iemanjà, afro brazilian dances, ceremonies and afro contemporary dances.
And most of all…a huge news for me, the show will have new elements: my poems, almost haiku, sometimes, and my paintings!
So between dance, paintings and poems, London, Italy and Brazil, I have got plenty of space to express beauty (hopefully)! It will be like “Creating splendour from crumbs”…of time, money, help…as often is the case for artists.
A big thank you goes to the one I consider a real Art Master, the painter Marco Sbizzera, who, as usual, succeds, with it’s accurate external eye, to let me understand what I am doing, or channeling, and where I am going to and where my art is going to.
And thank you to the help of Salvatore Longu.
I have planned to show the work to other precious professionals, as soon as I am ready, thanks on advance. I’m curious, let’s see! Thank you to those who believe in me and my art. Un abbraccio Roberta
